In Paris bring you student ID for discounts. A lot of places will only accept your student ID if it has an expiration date, so if your ID doesn’t have one, you might consider getting and ISIC card.

What to Do / Activities in Paris:

Most people think the best view of Paris is from the Eifel Tower. However, there is only one skyscraper that was ever permitted to be built in Paris, the Montparnasse Tower, which blocks part of the view of the city. For 10.50 euro and 7.50 euro for students you can taken an elevator to the observation deck at the Montparnasse Tower (taller than the Eifel Tower). It is the best unobstructed view of Paris since you are on the obstruction, plus you don't have to wait in line at the Eifel tower or climb the stairs to get the great view.

Money in Paris:

European ATM's only take cards with 4 digit pin #'s. If your pin is 5 or more #'s make sure to change it before you go. The ATM ate my card in Italy and my bank had to send me another one such a hassle!
